Maple Rock Capital Partners, a hedge fund based in Toronto, Canada, engaged Isinglass Marketing to create a new logo for them. Their original logo depicted a maple leaf, which was an expedient choice at the time of their start-up. But the maple leaf, Canada’s national symbol, is used so extensively that it has no meaning in terms of brand recognition.
In the process of presenting multiple potential solutions, Maple Rock’s president and CEO asked that we provide a design that would be representative of the “Three Sisters” mountain range above the town in the Canadian Rockies in which he grew up. So we developed the logo based on that request.
We followed up with business papers, cards and envelope design for print as well as electronic versions. We also produced a multi-page due diligence document that is used in communication with new investors.
